Start your afternoon with an indulgent journey through Waiheke Island’s premier wine destinations, savouring exquisite tastings and a sophisticated lunch with spectacular coastal views!
Our journey begins at Mudbrick, one of Waiheke Island’s most iconic destinations. Established in 1992, this stunning vineyard is situated on a hillside, offering panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland’s skyline. At their elegant cellar door, you’ll indulge in a wine tasting that showcases the unique maritime influence of Waiheke’s terroir.
Next, we’ll make our way to beautiful Onetangi, where we’ll visit KiMaha, a sophisticated modern restaurant steps from the golden sands of Onetangi Beach. Here you’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch paired with a complimentary beverage while taking in breathtaking views across the bay. The restaurant’s name “KiMaha” means “to rest” in Māori – the perfect description for this tranquil seaside dining experience.
After lunch, we’ll ascend to the highest point on Waiheke at Batch Winery. Situated at 240 meters above sea level, Batch offers truly spectacular 360-degree views across the island and beyond to the Coromandel Peninsula.
Your tour culminates at the prestigious Stonyridge Vineyard in the Onetangi Valley. Founded in 1982, this renowned vineyard specialises in ultra-premium Bordeaux-style wines, with its flagship LaRose being among New Zealand’s most coveted and collectable wines.
This tour is designed for afternoon enjoyment, with the first tasting starting at 12 pm.
